Fort Worth Bankruptcy Lawyer Carey attended Newcomb College at Tulane University in New Orleans where she graduated cum laude with honors in Public Policy. She then attended the Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, from which she graduated in 1985 with Board of Barrister honors. She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985, and to the US District Court in the Northern District of Texas in 1986. Her practice is 100% consumer and small business bankruptcy law.
She has been an active leader among her peers both locally and nationally. She is currently serving as President of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), an organization of 4000 bankruptcy attorneys across the nation. She has served as President of the Northeast Tarrant County Bar Association in 1998-99. |
